Hyperlinks and Bookmarks-
A hyperlink is a special text or image in a document which when clicked on by the user brings another document or another location within a document in the case where the hyperlink is connected to a bookmark.
A bookmark is a special “invisible” marker that you can place within a Word document or within a web page. It simply marks a location in the document. The reader doesn’t see it but the person creating the bookmark sees a special “flag” looking icon.
Favorites - A list of your favorite places to visit. This is a selection from the menu bar of most browsers. When you click on that selection you are presented with the list of all places that you have chosen to save there. Click on any one of those choices and your browser will open that page for you.
Shortcut - An icon or image which is usually placed on your desktop so you see it when your computer boots up. Click on the shortcut and you will be taken to the location that it was made for.
Copy/Paste - By selecting what you want to copy and from most menus you can choose Edit - Copy and what you selected will be saved into memory. Click where you want a copy to be placed and choose from the menu Edit - Paste and a copy of what you saved will automatically be placed there.
